GALE PETERSON
Gale is a Wyoming
native, returned to live on top of Casper Mountain after many
years in California, New York, Hawaii, Canada and the Middle East. In 2004
he moved to Belize in Central America, far from the cold winters of Wyoming.
His
early years as a dancer/choreographer/designer led to helping create the White
Oaks Theatre in Carmel Valley, California where he was Artistic Director;
followed by a stint in Hollywood working on 22 feature films in 5 years doing
everything from make-up to art direction, including one directing assignment for
a children's film project at Universal. A film project in Iran led to a number
of years teaching in the National Theatre of Iran, followed by designing and
writing projects in Hawaii. Gale wrote, designed and directed a number of live
theatre and television projects in Ontario while working at an advertising and
production house in Buffalo, New York. Returning to Wyoming, he worked for the
local CBS television station as a business manager while writing and directing
productions for the local community theatre and helped found and operate Casper
Children's Theatre. Gale has written many children's
plays; several produced off-Broadway, ACT in San Francisco, and in Canada.
